Background and Cosmic Radiation Monitoring

his is my project on monitoring real-time ambient radiation as well as studies/projects on radiation effects and use. The monitoring was initially done in South Dublin/Ireland area and currently in Curtea de Arges/Romania - I will be moving back to Dublin in a few months and restart the graph there as well. Data (composite alpha, beta, gamma and x-ray radiation) is colleted using a Geiger counter connected to a computer. The graph bellow is updated every minute. I will be adding here, hopefully soon, an additional graphs showing the cosmic radiation by means of muon detection.
